Shift Duties

Each shift at Weigel’s is busy and revolves around providing excellent customer service as well as numerous other tasks. A typical shift for a Weigel’s associate might include the following duties:
 
•    Arrive at work with a smile
•    Provide fast, friendly customer service
•    Brew fresh coffee
•    Bag ice
•    Check in vendors
•    Fill warmer with fresh biscuits
•    Fill warmer with fresh corn dogs
•    Restock cooler
•    Restock cigarettes
•    Put up grocery order
•    Clean pumps
•    Restock paper towels and windshield cleaner at pumps
•    Clean front doors
•    Clean cooler doors
•    Clean rest rooms
•    Sweep and mop floor
•    Clean and stock drink areas
•    Clean parking lot and grassy areas
•    Empty trash containers
•    Write an order
•    Check store e-mail
•    Communicate pertinent information to next shift

 
Sound like a busy day? It is and this is just a sample list. There are other duties that may arise on any given day, so be ready to take on new and different tasks.
